Information Updates are essential

One of the most important aspects of being a haemophiliac is understanding that when you need treatment that the treatment be available to you. It is important that you get the treatment as a matter of urgency in order to remain healthy and reduce the risk of disability. As members of the Central Region of the SAHF, we need to be able to get in touch with you the member so as to inform you of the changes in treatment options etc…and at the same time stay in touch with the general Haemophiliac community. To do so, we need to have the correct contact information so that we can keep you the member informed. Please ensure that your contact information is correct by either contacting the clinic and verifying that we have your correct address or updating your information when your membership fees are paid.

There are advantages to being informed.

By taking responsibility for your contact information being correct, you are ensuring that the communication channels between yourselves, the foundation and the doctors remains an open and unhindered one. This will ensure that you are easily contactable and that you will always have the latest information available to yourselves. We as the Foundation will also be able to present a unified front in the campaign for better treatment for all. Remember that you as an individual are able to include all people in the activities of the foundation. It is not limited to only those who are directly affected by haemophilia, but others as well. People who you interact with are also people who are able to help the foundation take great steps forward.
